Cedric Maforimbo


Cedric is an environmental educationist, agro-ecologist and social entrepreneur with over 6 years of conservation experience working in academia, and in the NGO, government and private sectors. He graduated from the University of Oxford in the UK with an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management, for which he was funded through a Louis Dreyfus Weidenfeld Hoffmann Scholarship, and also holds a BSc Ag in Animal Science and Rangeland Management from Lupane State University in Zimbabwe, among several short courses. Cedric draws the skills and expertise that he applies to facilitating ALU SOWC modules from conservation education programmes and courses that he has coordinated and attended respectively in 10 countries across Africa, Europe and North America.Cedric is a Continuing Member and Visiting Academic of the University of Oxford’s Linacre College and is the Founder and Lead of Weed2Pesticide, a University of Oxford-endorsed social enterprise.
