Jon Cummings, is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, and has been with the Firm since 1987. Jon began his career in Chicago and was in South Africa from 1994 to 2002, where he co-founded the Johannesburg Office and was the Office Manager for seven years. Jon primarily serves multinational consumer goods companies, is a co-leader of McKinsey’s Americas Merger Management Practice, and oversees a portfolio of new service lines within McKinsey New Ventures. Prior to joining McKinsey, Jon received his B.A. from Yale University in the U.S. and a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics where he was a Marshall Scholar. A committed environmentalist, Jon is a board member of the African Parks Foundation in the U.S, and he and his family support organizations including Big Life, WILDCRU, the Open Space Institute, and NJCF.
