Unlocking a sustainable, inclusive and resilient Blue Economy in the Western Indian Ocean

Last month, we announced that we will be hosting a series of webinars to replace our annual Business of Conservation Conference. Ready, Steady, Go!

We have carefully curated 3 sets of insightful virtual sessions for us to continue asking the tough questions necessary to imagine our way through this pandemic as a community.

First up is an insightful discussion about “Unlocking a sustainable, inclusive and resilient Blue Economy in the Western Indian Ocean”. This session will take place on Thursday 30th July at 2:00 pm EAT, jointly hosted by the ALU School of Wildlife Conservation and IUCN.

On September 3rd, our second webinar will usher in an exciting new opportunity for bold thinkers in and beyond the conservation community. This opportunity is the product of a new partnership between ALU School of Wildlife Conservation, the Luc Hoffmann Institute and WWF Africa. Stay tuned for more details about this opportunity to create innovative resilient approaches for African conservation.

We’ll wrap up the series in October with a Launch of the inaugural Wildlife Economy Outlook Report. This session will unveil interesting and sometimes shocking but groundbreaking data about Africa’s wildlife economy.

Register here to join us tomorrow, for the first webinar of the series.
