We would like to keep growing this living platform, therefore we welcome your participation in adding new resources.

We would like to know how many people are using our database, the organizations and the background so that we can improve the database in the future and keep this as a living database. We will treat the contact details anonymously as confidential information. We will not share the details with third parties. We plan to update the database, whereby we can update you through the contact details once the database is updated.

This database is developed based on academic research, whereby we analyzed different resources through research with a research team led by Elke Nijman. As part of the research, we included resources that are relevant to the circular economy and its principles for Africa. We also included articles that are not fully focused on Africa (e.g. global articles), but addressed Africa as a region/particular countries as a case study. In our case, this also included articles such as waste management, therefore, these articles are also included in the database.

Additional resources will be added to the database if they are relevant to the circular economy of Africa – and are approved by our team.
