Our Key Activities

Value Chain Development:

Support the entire BioTrade value chain, from harvesters to retailers, ensuring sustainable practices and capacity building.

Product Innovation:

Develop and test new BioTrade products, focusing on formulation, technology, consumer acceptance, and efficacy.

Market Development:

Grow new markets for BioTrade products through awareness campaigns, scientific validation, and trade promotion.

Resource Monitoring:

Implement protocols to ensure sustainable use and monitoring of natural resources.

Regulatory Compliance:

Help BioTrade businesses meet national and international standards, including the Nagoya Protocol.

Project Implementation:

Design and manage BioTrade projects at national and regional levels,
from inception to evaluation.

Certification Support:

Assist businesses in achieving certifications like organic, Fair Wild, and Ethical BioTrade.

Research Hub:

Act as a central repository for BioTrade knowledge, identify research
needs and support student research at Master and PhD levels.
