Richard Vigne

Executive Director, SOWC

Richard Vigne is the first Executive Director of the School of Wildlife Conservation. Prior to this he was the CEO of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and one of the most successful enterprises in Africa.

Dr. Sue Snyman

Research Director

Dr Sue Snyman holds a Master of Business Science and a PhD in Economics (2008-2013) from the University of Cape Town. She also completed PhD courses in resource and environmental economics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Benedicta Amenyo

Associate Director of Operations

Benedicta Selassie Amenyo is a development professional with experience in Project Management and Monitoring & Evaluation.

Dr. Michael Musgrave

Conservation Leadership Faculty

Dr Michael Musgrave graduated from Rhodes University and the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and holds a PhD in Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews.

Dr. Victor K. Muposhi

Conservation Leadership Faculty

Victor is a holder of DPhil in Conservation Biology, MSc in Conservation Biology, BSc in Environmental Science Honours in Wildlife and Rangeland Management.

Elke Nijman

Circular Economy Research Expert

Elke is a circular economy expert that has a strong ambition to find circular solutions for Africa. Living and working in East Africa for multiple years, she acknowledges the great potential for circular economy practices in Africa to unlock the potential for business, youth, and the green planet.

Dr. Sosthene Habumuremyi

Mr. Sosthene holds a degree of veterinary medicine from EISMV, Senegal and a PhD in Biology from Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Germany.

Leigh-Ann is experienced within the wildlife economy, spending several years in higher education lecturing wildlife management students and developed strong ties within the organized wildlife industry.
